Microsoft recently announced that Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) will be renamed to Microsoft Entra ID. The rebranding is key to help unify the Microsoft Entra product family. Check out the Microsoft Entra documentation and admin center

- No action is required from users
- All existing deployments, configurations and integrations continues to function as normal.
- All features and capabilities remain the same
The name change will start appearing across Microsoft experiences after a 30-day notification period which commenced 11th July 2023. The display names for SKUs and service plans will change in October 2023. Majority of the naming text strings will be completed by the end of 2023
